Alexis Sanchez’s boyhood club, Cobreloa, is set to receive 1.5% of the Chilean’s rumoured transfer fee in solidarity contribution.

Sanchez is rumoured to be signing for Bayern Munich this summer with the transfer fee thought to be in the region of £49m.
This means that his boyhood club will get roughly £737k from his move to Germany.
Worryingly, the report which points this out claims that Cobreloa’s president, Jorge Pereira, confirmed these figures based on numbers given to him by Bayern.
Of course, he could just be saying that these are the numbers they’re hearing Bayern have confirmed in the media, or he’s actually spoken to Bayern himself. We can’t tell just yet.
While £49m doesn’t sound like a huge deal for a world class striker in today’s climate, it’s either that or allow Sanchez to potentially sign for a rival for free next summer. He’s only got a year left on his current contract and Arsenal paid £35m, so it’s still a profit.
