Reports emerged this week that Ozil had kicked a door at White Hart Lane following Arsenal’s 2-0 loss to Spurs after he was asked to carry out a drugs test.
Drugs tests are usually routine and despite being frustrated, Ozil did it in the end.
When asked about this during his pre-Manchester United press conference, Wenger joked about the situation, apologising on behalf of the German for kicking a door, and insisted that it was anger towards the game, not the drugs test.

“I am sorry that he kicked the door,” Wenger said, admitting that he hadn’t spoken to the 28-year-old about the incident.
“I don’t think his frustration was towards the drug test, it was towards the game.”
As you can see, I don’t think the boss is worried.
