Mesut Ozil allegedly kicked a door in anger after it was requested that he take a routine drugs test at White Hart Lane.

According to the Telegraph, a frustrated Ozil initially ‘attempted to refuse’ to take the drugs test but, once he was informed he could be fined, he kicked a door in anger, apparently leaving stud marks.

The report suggests that his frustration was aimed at a wider problem, rather than the drugs test itself.

And obviously, the playmaker took it in the end after initially lashing out.

Just like the rest of the Arsenal players, Ozil found it difficult to make his mark in the match against Spurs, which not only saw the Gunners’ north London rivals win 2-0 but also ensured that Tottenham will finish higher in the table for the first time in since 1995.

With his future at Arsenal in doubt as well as results not going his way, it’s not surprising that the German is feeling a little testy.
