Reliable french outlet, Le Parisien, claims that while Paris Saint-Germain’s interest in Alexis Sanchez is very real, the Chilean would prefer a move to Bayern Munich.

The chances of Alexis signing a new deal with Arsenal appear to be getting slimmer and slimmer with every passing day, and with several top European clubs waiting in the wings to snap him up should the Gunners fail to clinch Champions League football next season, it’s hard to imagine him still being in north London come September.

According to Le Parisien, the forward would prefer a move to Bayern where his Chile teammate, Arturo Vidal, plays. For him, the Bundesliga giants apparently strike the right balance between financial and sporting guarantees.

The idea of once again playing under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City also allegedly intrigues the 28-year-old but it’s unlikely that Arsene Wenger, who is said to be preparing to receive a bid, will sell to rivals again.

On Wednesday night, Alexis scored his 20th league goal of the season against Southampton, helping the Gunners to another win, which puts them just three points off the top four.

If Arsenal can manage to finish in one of those coveted top four spots despite their disastrous season, perhaps they have a chance of keeping Alexis.
