Paris Saint-Germain are set to be left disappointed after reportedly making signing Alexis Sanchez their top priority this summer.

  • Alexis has one year left on Arsenal deal
  • Will discuss potential extension or move at end of season
  • Has scored 25 goals (all comps)
  • Bayern Munich said to be preferred destination

The Ligue 1 giants’ owner, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, apparently wants to give his side a boost and, according to le10sport, signing Alexis is the best way he reckons he can do it.

PSG are a notoriously wealthy club and the report claims their owner has his ‘checkbook at the ready’ to sign the Chile international from Arsenal this summer.

However, after a report from Le Parisien emerged on Thursday, naming PSG as Alexis’ third favourite destination after Bayern Munich and Manchester City, the French club are set to be left disappointed.

Despite the 28-year-old only having one year left on his current deal, Arsenal are still apparently hoping to get €40m, which would have probably been the most likely with PSG.
