Alvaro Morata is reportedly set to snub a number of Premier League clubs in order to join AC Milan this summer.

  • Forward has scored 15 La Liga goals in 26 appearances
  • Is contracted with Real Madrid until 2021
  • Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal all linked (again)
  • £51.9m Morata wants AC Milan move

Morata was heavily linked with a move from Juventus to Arsenal last summer but his former club, Real Madrid, swept in and used their €30m buy-back clause.

It was thought that the La Liga giants would immediately sell him on, understanding that they could probably get almost double what they had just paid, especially considering his performance at Euro 2016 where he scored three goals in four games.

However, they didn’t.

Since returning to Real, Morata’s featured just 26 times over 1,331 minutes. That’s around 52.1 minutes per appearance.

Therefore, the 24-year-old has reportedly decided to start afresh somewhere else.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal all continue to be linked, just as they were last summer. However, according to Italian outlet, Gazzetta dello Sport [via the Mirror], the forward is said to have already chosen AC Milan, who are willing to spent £51.9m on bringing Morata to Serie A.
