Ivan Gazidis could be set to receive a massive £5.5m payout if he leaves Arsenal this summer.

  • Arsenal chief executive has been at Arsenal for eight years
  • Gazidis set for MLS return if….what’s going on?
  • Kroenke issues immediate denial of Usmanov story

The chief executive, who’s been rumoured to be leaving for the MLS, could be set to receive three years’ his gross salary plus an annual bonus, which was reportedly over £1m a year ago, as well as £100,000 annual pension contributions if he leaves this summer.

Uncertainty surrounds Arsenal from the top to bottom at the moment. Not only are they unsure of who will be the Gunners’ manager next season, now, they don’t even really know who will own the club.

Although Stan Kroenke claims he won’t sell to Alisher Usmanov, situations can change very quickly in football, especially where large sums of money are concerned.

If Usmanov is successful in another attempt to takeover Arsenal Football Club from Kroenke, Gazidis could be shown the door.

Although, with a £5.5m windfall, I doubt he’d be that devastated.
