Chelsea are reportedly becoming ‘increasingly likely’ to pull off a move for Alexis Sanchez this summer.

  • Sanchez’s contract runs out in June 2018
  • Chilean said to be happy to stay at Arsenal if they get Champions League football
  • Conte ‘desperate’ to sign world class forward
  • Alexis has scored 28 goals and assisted 19 this season (all comps)

Alexis has been linked with Chelsea for a couple of months now, as well as Manchester City, Paris Saint-German, Juventus, Inter Milan, and Bayern Munich.

It’s been widely reported that Arsene Wenger will not sell the Chilean to a rival team in the Premier League and could cash in on Alexis this summer to prevent that from happening for free next year.

However, the Independent are now claiming that Chelsea could manage to pull this off, simply because Antonio Conte is so ‘desperate’ to sign the forward.

Apparently, Conte’s willing to truly test Arsenal’s resolve by putting in a mega-offer and, since the player loves London so much, he wouldn’t have to move too far, which could be an attractive prospect for the 28-year-old.

Elsewhere, however, the media is convinced that Alexis will be signing for Bayern Munich this summer – his preferred destination.
