- Arsenal and Chelsea both chase 23-year-old’s signature
Belotti has attracted the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs this season after scoring 27 goals in 37 appearances over all competitions – 25 in the league alone.
The 23-year-old signed for Torino from Palermo in 2015 and still has four years left on his current deal. Therefore, you can understand why chairman Urbano Cairo is demanding £85m for their star player. They’re in no rush to cash in immediately on their star player.
According to reports, Arsenal and Chelsea are ready to offer £85m to bring Belotti to London, which would certainly come as a shock to most Gooners considering our most expensive player (Mesut Ozil) cost half that.
However, it’s expected that the Italy international will snub both in favour of a move to Atletico Madrid.
