John Cross from the Mirror has ‘revealed’ Arsenal’s supposed transfer plans for the summer.

  • Wenger set to sign two-year deal
  • Ox, Wilshere and Gibbs offered new contracts
  • Monreal on way out
  • Lacazette main transfer target

John Cross from the Mirror has once again spoken about how Arsenal are set to overhaul the club in the summer.

Apparently, Arsene Wenger is definitely set to sign a new two-year deal and is looking at bringing in Alexandre Lacazette and potentially Celtic’s Kieran Tierney or Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon if Kieran Gibbs doesn’t extend his current deal past 2018.

Jack Wilshere and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is being looked at by Liverpool and Manchester City, are also supposed to be getting tied down to new contracts.

Nacho Monreal is said to be heading back to his home country, Spain, and Schalke’s Sead Kolasinac is reportedly coming in on a four-year deal, which has already been widely reported.

Goalkeeping coach Gerry Peyton and fitness coach Tony Colbert are also both set to leave.

Essentially, Cross’ piece doesn’t really tell us anything we don’t already know or that hasn’t already been claimed.
