Arsenal consider triggering 21-year-old midfielder’s £6m release clause

Arsenal are reportedly considering triggering Udinese midfielder, Jakub Jankto’s, release clause.

Arsenal have been linked with a move for the highly-rated 21-year-old for a while now.

The Czech republic international has five goals and four assists in 23 Serie A appearances this season and has let the world know that he’s open to a move to the Premier League, saying recently,“It’s not the time to talk about it yet but I can see myself playing outside Italy, if we talk about the long-term.

“I’d like to try new experiences, maybe in the Premier League or La Liga.”

Although he’s since signed a contract extension with Udinese, which ties him to the club until 2021, there’s no guarantee that he’ll stay with the Italian team.

In fact, Arsenal reportedly still want to sign him and, according to the Mirror, are considering triggering his £6m release clause.

Napoli, Juventus and West Brom are also said to be interested in signing the speedster, who has been dubbed the ‘new Rosicky’.
