Arsenal have been scouting him for a while but Jadon Sancho can now sign a professional contract for Manchester City.

Manchester City’s extremely talented youngster, Jadon Sancho, turns 17 today, making him eligible for a professional contract with Pep Guardiola’s side.

City are believed to be confident of getting the player to agree a deal with them and there has been talk of a £30k-per-week deal over three-years. Players under the age of 18 are not allowed to sign professional deals longer than this as per Article 18 of FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players.

The Etihad outfit signed him from Watford in 2015 for £500k and talk recently has centred around the teenager wanting to return to London. Against Arsenal in the recent u23 3-3 draw, Sancho was one of the stand-out stars on show.

Arsenal’s chief scout, Steve Rowley, has been tracking the player for a while now but it seems as if City are going to hold on to a player who is most certainly one to keep an eye on.
