Arsenal have recently been linked with Manchester City’s Jadon Sancho, a teenager the Citizens are very keen to keep hold of and it’s not hard to see why.
Arsenal and Manchester City’s youngsters squared up at the Emirates on Monday night and delivered an entertaining affair that ended with the Gunners grabbing a last gasp equaliser to make it 3-3.
One of the standouts on show during the game was 16-year-old Jadon Sancho who arrived at the club from Watford in 2015, costing the Etihad outfit £500k.
Sancho turns 17 later this month at which point he will be eligible to sign a professional contract. On this evidence, City will be throwing one at him – a three-year deal worth £30,000-a-week if a recent report is to be believed.
Arsenal have been scouting him and it was rumoured that he might fancy a move back south. I guess we won’t have long to find out.
