READ MORE: Why are Arsenal signing O’Reilly for just a few months?

O’Reilly signed for Kansas City in 2015 and is expected to return to them in the summer. 32, she plays as a midfielder but can also operate on the flank.

The club were said to be in talks with her at the start of the month and it seems as if an agreement has now been reached.

We’ll have a more in-depth piece here looking at why the deal is only until June, but for those of you who don’t know, Heather has won 3 Gold Medals at the Olympics, 1 World Cup, 1 NWSL Championship, 1 WPS Championship, 1 U-19 World Cup and 2 College Cups.

Heather’s website is here and Twitter handle is @HeatherOReilly
