PSG have dropped Hatem Ben Arfa, with the player absent from the squad’s training session on Monday evening ahead of the match at Parc des Prince on Tuesday evening.

Le Parisien are reporting that the player is not injured and that his absence seems to be a tactical choice from the coach, Unai Emery, who is already coming under pressure after a poor start to the league season.

Ben Arfa has played 152 minutes in Ligue 1 this season, and has yet to play a full 90 in any of the four games.

Present at the training session were 19 players. These were:

Aréola, Aurier, Cavani, Di Maria, Jesé, Kimpembe, Krychowiak, Lucas, Marquinhos, Matuidi, Maxwell, Meunier, Pastore, Rabiot, Thiago Motta, Thiago Silva, Trapp, Verratti.

Serge Aurier was not expected to be fit for the game. The massive Arsenal fan had said that the game could come too soon as he looked to return from injury.

Seems not.
