The latest minor development on the Riyad Mahrez-go-round (GET IT?!!) is that Leicester City have signed a new winger.

We speculated a while ago that Polish winger, Bartosz Kapustka, could be a potential replacement for Mahrez, should the latter want to leave the Foxes, and sure enough, they’ve signed him.

The 19-year-old winger has been signed for a reported £7.5m from Cracovia, which means, on the unlikely chance that we do indeed sign Mahrez, Leicester will make an astronomical amount of money. However, given his age, he could just be a signing for the future.

Elsewhere, Kike Marin (not always the most reliable source) says that Arsene Wenger wants him, it’s just up to Mahrez.

Meanwhile, Rob Tanner from the Leicester Mercury has claimed that Mahrez is definitely staying with the Foxes and – if anything – he’ll sign a new contract with them. Not Arsenal.

Although this is the opposite of what most reports have been saying over the last few days, the Leicester Mercury was one of the first publications to say that Jamie Vardy was going to remain in the Midlands. No one believed them then, so maybe we should now?
