According to reports, Riyad Mahrez and his people have met with Arsene Wenger and the Leicester City winger has agreed to join Arsenal.
The Mahrez to Arsenal story has been an intriguing one but I’m not sure many of us genuinely believed we were in for him. However, over the past couple of days the story has taken an interesting turn with Leicester City boss, Claudio Ranieri, going from being ‘100% sure’ that Mahrez was staying with the Foxes, to warning the player that he shouldn’t join Arsenal.
This came not long after Wenger was asked about Mahrez in an interview with beINSPORT, where he got all coy and cracked his troll-smile.
The latest – pretty dramatic development – is that Mahrez has reportedly met with Wenger and agreed to join us.

Daniel Cuts from the Sun also says we should expect a deal.
I'm away on holiday but heard to expect #Arsenal to go all in for Lacazette and Mahrez and sign an decent-ish defender by end of window #AFC

Hmmm. I’m still not getting my hopes up but let’s just say they’re a little higher than they were a week ago.
