Chelsea are reportedly ready to offer Oscar plus cash for Arsenal target, Mauro Icardi, who is valued at €65m by Inter Milan.

According to reports, the Blues want to boost their attacking power and since everyone is convinced that 23-year-old Icardi is leaving his current club, they’ve been linked.

As we all know, Arsenal have been connected with the Argentine for weeks now but apart from media speculation and his wagent (wife/agent) Wanda Nara acting shady, there have been no actual facts to suggest that he wants to leave. In fact, quite the opposite – the player has repeatedly expressed his desire to stay with Inter and manager Frank de Boer has even confirmed that the player will not be leaving.

Therefore, if Chelsea were to bid with any amount of cash now, they would be directing ignoring what the Inter boss has said and just going for it anyway. Of course, this happens all the time but not this time.

I don’t see Icardi leaving the Italian club, even with Napoli being heavily linked, it’s far more likely that his wife is trying to get him a bigger pay packet and doesn’t care what strings she has to pull to get it.
