AC Milan are hoping that Arsenal will offer €30m for Carlos Bacca after the player refused to move to West Ham.

With new coach, Vicenzo Montella, wanting to move the player on as he doesn’t feel he will fit into his system, the Rossoneri are hoping Arsenal will shower them with cash.

They can keep hoping.

Arsenal are certainly in the market for a striker but the only way I see them paying €30m for Bacca is if they cannot land anyone with a higher profile and they panic.

Milan accepted the Hammers’ €30m bid but the player was having none of it because, like them all, he wants Champions League football.

A player who turns 30 in September, it’s insane to think that Wenger would shell out €30m for him unless he had no other choice.

Even then, he might still think to himself ‘sure, we have Sanogo.’
