Arsenal have apparently ‘held talks’ with both Alexandre Lacazatte and Romelu Lukaku’s representatives in order to bring one to north London before pre-season.
We’ve been linked to both players, especially since Jamie Vardy turned us down in favour of staying with Leicester City, but Lyon recently claimed that Lacazette wouldn’t be leaving and the idea of us paying £65m for the Everton striker seemed like a huge reach.
However, Lyon could simply be trying to bump up Lacazette’s price, while Everton are thought to be willing to accept £40m for the Belgium international.
Do I think we’ll sign either? There’s probably more of a chance of us signing Lacazette, considering Lukaku’s price. However, either would be fantastic additions.
The Sun, claims that an ‘Arsenal source’ has confirmed that Olivier Giroud is still very much part of Wenger’s plans for next season, we just need something extra, which is something Arsenal fans have been saying for a while.
