Alexis Sanchez has got all philosophical on us ahead of the new season.

Although the Chilean is likely to miss the opening matches of the new Premier League season due to his late involvement in Copa America, that hasn’t stopped him from sharing his usual philosophical Instagram posts.

The forward’s most recent…offering…is about being motivated and positive, which makes sense considering the state of his ankle after the Copa America final and the fact that it’s not yet healed.

The picture of himself is captioned:

“The difference between the good people and the extraordinary people is related to the mindset, motivation and positive reaction capacity before adversity…”

Although I’m not entirely sure that ‘positivity’ alone could heal that monstrosity, it’s not a bad attitude to have at all. I’m sure we’ll be able to fill you in on the extent of his injury soon enough.
