Mesut Özil and Alexis Sanchez have both been enjoying their time off from football but in different ways.

The German playmaker, who is Muslim, made the pilgrimage to Mecca, which every follower of Islam is encouraged to do once in their lifetime.

Earlier in his trip, the 27-year-old went to Dubai and also visited the Zaatari Refugee Camp in Jordan with the Asian Football Development Project and played football with the children.

Alexis, on the other hand, put his dog in a T-shirt and flew home to Chile on what appears to be a private jet.
