Chelsea striker, Pedro, has described Alexis Sanchez as one of the best players he’s shared a changing room with ahead of our tie with the Blues at the Emirates.
Alexis is expected to return to action against Chelsea after being sidelined for a couple of months with a hamstring injury and it appears that if he does start, Pedro believes the south London team will have a difficult time.
Speaking recently about the best players he’s ever played with, the former Barcelona star admitted that Alexis was indeed ‘very good’ when he played with him at the La Liga side.
“As everyone will be expecting, [the best player I’ve played with] is Lionel Messi,” the £21m man said.
“It is just that he is very ambitious about wanting to be the best.
“Also Neymar as they both have very fast movements.
“There are other people I have shared a changing room with as well who I think are really good like Ronaldinho and Alexis Sanchez.”
It’s unclear how likely it is that the Chilean will start against Chelsea on Sunday. The boss had said himself that he’s being cautious with him but now he’s returned to training, Alexis could get a run out. The team has missed him so it’ll be good to see him back to doing what he does best: tearing defences apart.
