Robert Pirès made north London a better place during six fantastic seasons at Highbury.

A tough first year saw Pirès net his first north London derby goal in March, and he never looked back. Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year for the 2001/02 season, he scored the only goal in an FA Cup Final the following year. One more season saw him play 36 of 38 Premier League games as Arsenal went unbeaten.

A truly incredible midfielder, Bobby scored 84 goals during his time at Arsenal and is now an ambassador at the club.

My personal favourite goal would have to be the one against Aston Villa in the 2001/02 season, closely followed by a screamer against Liverpool and all eight goals (in 11 games) scored against Tottenham. What about you?
