Matt Le Tissier thinks Arsenal’s Theo Walcott should leave the club in January, with multiple Premier League teams reportedly interested.

Le Tissier was speaking on Gillette Soccer Saturday, and when asked if Walcott needs to move on now, the Southampton legend responded: “I think he does. I think he does.”

Walcott has had a mixed start to the season with the Gunners so far, and is still yet to start in the Premier League. The 28-year-old’s has been hit-and-miss in the League Cup and Europa League, and rumours have circulated that it might be time for him to leave.

Newcastle, West Ham, Southampton and Everton have all been linked with a move recently. There could still be some hope for Walcott, with how much he impressed in the Europa League when Arsenal won 6-0 against BATE Borisov.

Against BATE, Walcott won two penalties, scored one goal, made one assist and forced his opponent into scoring an own goal. Not bad considering he came on in the 71st minute.

It was certainly his best performance of the season, and one which might yet get him back in contention with Arsenal.
