Arsenal are one of several teams interested in Bordeaux winger Malcom, according to reports.

The 20-year-old has been one of the standout performers in Ligue 1 this season. Unsurprisingly, a young attacker playing well has resulted in him being linked with several clubs.

According to Mercato365, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have shown an interest in the Brazilian, valued at £15m.

Malcom joined Bordeaux from Corinthians in 2016 and had a promising first full season in France, scoring seven goals and creating another five. This season, he looks set to improve on that. He already has five goals and five assists in 15 appearances in all competitions.

The report states that Bayern see him as a potential replacement for the ageing pair of Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, while PSG would have to offload several players to sign him.

Arsenal are about to be linked with several attackers due to the expected departures of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.

There would be doubts if Malcom is first-team ready, but he seems a very exciting player and could be an option for the club should they not secure their first-choice targets.

Any future deal could be complicated by work permit issues. Malcom has represented Brazil at youth level, but has yet to receive a first-team call-up.
