Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly pulled out of a deal for Alexis Sanchez after Arsenal informed them they wouldn’t sell the player.

  • PSG were confident of signing Alexis after meeting with him in Paris
  • However, his excessive wage demands prevented an agreement
  • Arsenal also have no intention of selling, even abroad

The proposed move of Alexis to PSG has ended as quickly as it started. There was a lot of noise surrounding an alleged meeting between the player and Paris Saint-Germain director Antero Henrique in Paris. The Ligue 1 side were believed to be confident of doing a deal.

However, reports from France now claim talks broke down due to Alexis’ excessive wage demands. A deal now looks very unlikely, especially after Arsenal made it clear that they wouldn’t sell the player, even to a foreign team.

PSG hoped sending one of their players Arsenal’s way would convince them, but the Gunners have made their stance clear several times. They do not want to sell Alexis to anyone, no matter what they’re offered.
