Juventus are reportedly planning a bid for Riyad Mahrez as Arsenal hesitate.

  • Mahrez wants to leave Leicester this summer
  • Arsenal and Chelsea are interested but have yet to make bids
  • Juventus could swoop in with a bid

Arsenal are very interested in Mahrez but have yet to make an official bid as they’re hoping that Leicester will lower their £50m asking price.

This could leave the door open for Juventus who, according to the Mirror, will target Mahrez if they can’t get Douglas Costa from Bayern Munich.

Mahrez put in an transfer request last month and expects Leicester to honour an agreement that would allow him to leave this summer.

The Algerian made public his desire to play for a bigger club, preferably one in the Champions League.

There has been plenty of interest from Premier League teams in the past two years. Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs have been the most consistently linked.

Now it seems there could be interest from abroad as well. The more clubs that are interested, the less likely Leicester are to lower their asking price.
