Hector Bellerin and Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho are reportedly on Barcelona’s ‘wishlist’ this summer.

  • Barcelona planning summer ‘spruce up’
  • Targeting Bellerin despite asking price
  • Also want Liverpool, PSG and Atletico Madrid stars

According to AS, Barcelona are planning a ‘spruce up’ of their current squad and have placed Bellerin, Coutinho, PSG’s Marco Verratti, and Atletico Madrid’s Theo Hernández on said wishlist.

The Catalan club are allegedly hoping to rebuild for next season by signing two young full-backs, a central midfielder and either a playmaker or an ‘all-rounder’.

They want Bellerin to fill that right-back position – obviously – and Coutinho to take up the role in midfield.

Bellerin only signed a new deal with Arsenal at the end of last year, which takes him up to 2023 with the club. His asking price is said to be set at around £34m, which Barca are reportedly put off by.

This ‘rebuild’ is supposedly going to set the La Liga team back €100m, which they will have to raise by selling existing players.

Arda Tura, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal, and defender Jeremy Mathieu are said to be the most likely to leave.
