With the FIFA U20 World Cup approaching, England’s U-20 head coach Paul Simpson announced his squad selection to travel to South Korea and Ainsley Maitland-Niles is the only Arsenal player featured in the squad.

The tournament starts on May 20 and lasts until June 11.

In the group stage, England will face Argentina, Guinea and South Korea in the final group stage game.

The U20 squad will miss the likes of Patrick Roberts, Axel Tuanzebe and Izzy Brown as their clubs declared them unavailable due to first team commitments.

With the majority of the current selection consisting of players who featured at the U19s European Championship Finals that were held last July, England’s boss Paul Simpson will hope that his squad can at least reach the knock-out phase of the tournament.
