Arsenal beat Manchester United on Sunday to put fifth place back in their own hands (are you excited?).

So how did the players do individually?

Petr Cech 8

Remember when Petr Cech couldn’t save anything at his near post? Not against United. Near post king!

Rob Holding 7

Could have made a very costly mistake but luckily Wayne Rooney fluffed his chance. Otherwise, solid from the youngster again.

Laurent Koscielny 8

Donald Trump could use him to build a wall – nothing gets past him. A whopping eight clearances on Sunday, more than any player from either team.

Nacho Monreal 7

He didn’t score. Poor form, Nacho

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain 7.5

His cross for Welbeck’s goal was sublime, but it was a mixed afternoon for the Ox against United.

Granit Xhaka 8

Sky Sports think that Granit Xhaka’s transfer to Arsenal hasn’t worked out yet. Sky Sports are morons. Top Arsenal passer on the day with 70 out of 74, completed 14 of his 15 attacking third passes. Plus he scored.

Aaron Ramsey 8.5

Aaron was everywhere and was rightly named Man of the Match.

Kieran Gibbs 7

A surprise starter to offer defensive solidity. An average game.

Mesut Ozil 7

Another quiet one from Mesut which still saw him make and complete more attacking third passes than any other player.

Alexis Sanchez 6

Started strongly but faded dramatically from the game.

Danny Welbeck 8

He scores when he wants….sort of.

Francis Coquelin 5

Replaced Granit Xhaka when he got injured and didn’t cost us the game. That’s progress.

Olivier Giroud N/A

Got six minutes.

Hector Bellerin N/A

Got six minutes.
