Olivier Giroud’s ankle problem is not believed to be as bad as first feared and the Frenchman should be in line to feature against Burnley at the weekend.
Taken off after an hour against Swansea, Giroud was on the bench with an ice pack on his left ankle.
It was a problem he picked up early on in the first half, but he had soldiered through, despite initially calling to be substituted.
