Jose Mourinho met with the press after the final whistle on Saturday and he was not pleased with the result.
Claiming (correctly) that his side were the best, he talked about how they were ‘phenomenal’ which is perhaps a bit of a stretch given how poorly Arsenal played, but when your best performances of the season have come against Stoke and Burnley, it’s hard not to see why he’d get a little excited.
It’s interesting to note that Mourinho was asked about the penalty but not if Matteo Darmian should have been sent off in the first half. No wonder he was so complimentary about Andre Marriner.
