Arsene Wenger has spoken about new Swansea manager, Bob Bradley, ahead of our clash on Saturday and made it very clear that he recognises the American manager’s experience.

Although Bradley hasn’t managed in the Premier League, or indeed at this level, before, he’s been in coaching since 1981 when he was in charge of the Ohio Bobcats. At the age of 58, he’s been around and he is by no means a rookie when it comes to football.

Speaking ahead of Arsenal’s clash with the Swans, Wenger praised Bradley, claiming that he believes his appointment isn’t just excellent for the former USA u23s assistance but for the Premier League in general.

“Bradley has a big experience, he is not a beginner,” Wenger said.

“He has travelled a lot.

“This is certainly for him a fantastic opportunity for him and the Premier League.

“He is equipped to deal with what is requested of him.”

By having Bradley in the Premier League, more Americans may feel inspired to turn their attention over to the UK.

Swansea are a club we’ve found difficult to get points against in the past. It’ll be interesting to see if this is still the case with Bradley in charge.
