When Santi Cazorla was taken off in the 57th of Arsenal’s 6-0 win over Ludogorets, everyone feared the worst and although it doesn’t appear to be too serious, he could miss out on our clash against Middlesbrough.
Arsene Wenger confirmed after the Champions League match that the Spaniard received a knock to his Achilles and during his presser ahead of our Premier League clash at the weekend, he said that the club would assess how Santi is today (Friday). He could miss out on the match, which would be a shame, but at least it doesn’t sound serious.

No one else is set to return for the weekend. However, Olivier Giroud, who has been out for several weeks with a toe injury, could return on Tuesday when Arsenal travel to Reading for the next round of the EFL Cup.

Aaron Ramsey could return for the following Premiership fixture against Sunderland, which will be a massive boost.
