Johan Djourou took to social media to congratulate his “mentor”, Arsene Wenger, for 20 years in charge of Arsenal.

The centreback, who signed for Hamburg in 2014 after a loan spell at the Bundesliga club, was at Arsenal for a decade and although he wasn’t the best defender we’ve ever had, at least he appreciates that he was given a chance.

The Switzerland international posted the Arsene Wenger 20 years image that Arsenal shared, which is made up of all the players the Frenchman ever signed, with a caption detailing just how much the boss meant to him.

It’s fantastic to see other players, old and new, paying tribute to an amazing man and one of the biggest managers in world football.

Wenger’s next challenge comes against Burnley on Sunday afternoon as the Gunners travel to Turf Moor hoping to carry on their run of good form after beating Chelsea 3-0 last weekend and Basel 2-0 midweek.
