Rob Holding and Calum Chambers have linked up on their way to Kazakhstan with the rest of the England u21 squad.

Chambers is currently on loan with Middlebrough and it appears that him and Holding are pleased to see each other, both posting pictures/videos on their social media.

Centreback Holding has only appeared twice for his national side’s u21s, making his debut in May 2016, while Chambers has made 15.

Hopefully both players get a chance to play during the Euro 2017 qualifier.

Chambers has put in two full 90-minute games for ‘Boro while Holding’s time on the pitch at Arsenal has petered out after the introduction of new signing, Shkodran Mustafi.

Saying that, the former Bolton Wanderers Player of the Season has made four appearances in all competitions and hasn’t been booted out of the squad entirely. He’s still got massive potential and it’s good to see him getting called up to represent his country.

Good luck, lads.
