Arsenal and PSG are competing for the signature of 13-year-old goalkeeper, Lucas Kayombo, according to a report in France Football.
The report in full, reads:
Many clubs, including Paris St Germain and Arsenal, are currently competing to sign Lucas Kayombo, a goalkeeper of 13 years who plays for FC Solitaires, in the east of the French capital.
This is one of the most monitored nuggets in the Paris region where shuddered talent in numerous clubs [?]. He is Lucas Kayombo. 13 years old, goalkeeper of FC Solitaires, located in eastern Paris, is considered by many scouts as a phenomenon of his age group.
Voted the best goalkeeper of Panama Cup and the Danone Cup at regional tournaments in Lille, he is subject to many stresses. Among them, PSG and especially Arsenal, who wants to recruit more and more young people in France.
His explosiveness and his impressive agility largely stand on average. So he should quickly leave the 19th district of Paris to join a training centre.
At just 13, there is practically no information available about the player but given there is no real news value in reporting about players who are so young, it’s likely there is some truth at the very least to this rumour.
