Arsenal are set to face Manchester City in pre-season.

The clash will mark the end of Arsenal’s pre-season and will take place on the 7th August at the Ullevi stadium.

Facing a Premier League rival in pre-season can be useful because it gives you an idea of where you stand in comparison. However, it can be deceiving. Just look at last season – we beat Chelsea 1-0 in the Community Shield, then lost to them twice when it really mattered.

Hopefully, we use this opportunity to see how we stack up against City but don’t allow the result, good or bad, to go to our head.

If you fancy checking out how we did against Chelsea in pre-season last year (why wouldn’t you?) look no further.
