An horrific new statistic has emerged that Arsenal have had the most attempts on goal so far this season, despite only scoring twice.

We’ve had 42 shots in total over our opening two matches.

Against West Ham we had 22 shots, with only six on target, and we all know how that match ended. While against Crystal Palace, we had 20 shots, again, with six on target. Of course, during the latter we actually managed to also score two but one of those was an own goal.

Is there cause of concern? Probably not.

Does that stat make my toes curl? Definitely.

Arsenal have fired in the most attempts at goal so far this season (42) and scored with just two.
