Gedion Zelalem has wasted no time in showing off his talents at the FIFA u20 World Cup in New Zealand.

The US trounced the hosts 4-0, securing qualification for the knock-out stages with a game to spare and the Arsenal man (boy?) was clearly having an absolute blast.

Although he didn’t get on the scoresheet himself, he did grab an assist and dazzled with a rabona (amongst other things).

Speaking recently, Zelalem explain why he opted to represent the States ahead of Germany and Ethiopia. “It was purely just a feeling of knowing I was American,” Zelalem told viaESPN FC.

Simple, eh?
