According to Fotomac in Turkey, Arsene Wenger has met with Giuliano Terraneo, the sporting director of Turkish side Fenerbahce.

While the piece claims that the pair met to facilitate an ‘exchange of ideas’ they also claim that Joel Campbell was on the agenda for the meeting.

Campbell has finished his loan spell in Spain and is widely expected to leave the club this summer, either on a permanent deal or, as seems more likely, another loan.

Speaking recently the Costa Rican admitted he was prepared to do whatever it took to give him the best chance of having a career at Arsenal and is prepared to leave on loan once again.

Fotomac claim that Campbell has been a long-term target for Terraneo but it is not yet clear if he has done enough to convince Wenger to allow the forward to join them next season.

Fenerbahce will have to go through qualifying in the Champions League after finishing as runners-up in Turkey, three points behind Galatasaray who are said to be interested in signing Lukas Podolski with the German rumoured to be meeting with them this week.
