Alexis Sanchez has dismissed claims that he fought with a Chile teammate, insisting that it was merely an exchange of opinions.

The media wasted no time in screaming about a dressing room bust up between the Arsenal man and Marcelo Diaz, claiming that Gary Medel had to step in to separate the players, but speaking afterwards, Sanchez played the incident down.

“We’re all good,” Sanchez said.

“It was an exchange of opinions, like [the media] loves, it’s normal.

“Everything’s sorted, there’s no fight and we are all calm, they’re things that happen in a match.”

It had been speculated that the fight occurred when Sanchez was accused of being greedy but as none of us were there it’s hard to know what really happened.

It’s also impossible to imagine a group of people being together in a high-pressure environment and an exchange of heated words not taking place at some point.

It’s yet another molehill parts of the media want to make seem like a mountain.

Nothing to see here.
