Arsenal may have been fortunate to leave with a point on Sunday but had Mike Dean given this penalty they could have left with all three.

For not the first time in the game, the Arsenal man was practically undressed, although this was by far the most blatant and obvious, the foul being highlighted by the glaring blue of Giroud’s undershirt.

Perhaps Dean thinks the Frenchman is really a smurf.
