Four Arsenal players have made the final shortlist of 26 players in contention to make the FIFAPRO Men’s World 11, with the team to be revealed next week.

FIFPRO have revealed their 26-player shortlist for their Men’s World 11, after tallying up the votes from 19,806 professional footballers from 73 countries.
The 26 players on the shortlist are those who received the most votes from their peers for their performances from August 2025 to July 2026. The 11 players with the most votes in their respective positions will then make the final team.
That team will be revealed on Monday, November 9th at 16:00 GMT, with four Arsenal players in contention to feature in it.

David Raya is one of just three goalkeepers to make the cut, competing with Thibaut Courtois and Emi Martinez.
Funnily enough, recent Yashin Trophy winner Unai Simon didn’t make the cut on this occasion. Whilst the FIFPRO World 11 is voted on by professional footballers, the Yashin Trophy is voted on by journalists.
But Raya can perhaps take some encouragement from the results of the Yashin Trophy vote, given he significantly outperformed Courtois and Martinez and only finished second to his international teammate Simon.

In defence, Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba are among just five centre-backs on the shortlist, joining Pau Cubarsi, Virgil van Dijk, and Dayot Upamecano.
Then Declan Rice is one of a relatively long list of central midfielders, joining Jude Bellingham, Bruno Fernandes, Enzo Fernandez, Pedri, Rodri, and Vitinha. But it’s likely three spots will be up for grabs, so the England international still has a chance.
Any of the four players would be deserving entrants in the World 11, and we’ll find out next Monday if any of them have made the cut.
