Arsenal are keeping a close eye on Eli Junior Kroupi, but AFC Bournemouth are continuing to refuse to sell despite changing their stance on Alex Scott.

Tom Canton reports for Football.London that Arsenal are keeping a close eye on Eli Junior Kroupi’s return from injury, but Bournemouth’s position remains firm that he’s not for sale.
Canton adds that Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona, and Bayern Munich are all in for Kroupi as well, and there’s reportedly a feeling that Arsenal probably wouldn’t spend as much as PSG would.
But the Gunners are set to look to improve their attack in the January window, and Kroupi is evidently on the shortlist of names of players they’d ideally like to recruit.

Fabrizio Romano recently reported that Arsenal are looking at a striker as their next priority signing, again suggesting that Kroupi is on the Gunners’ shortlist.
Romano did add that a summer transfer is probably more likely, and he added Manchester City to the list of clubs after the young striker.
Kroupi was one of the big names in the 2026 summer market, but all the rumours dried up when he suffered a serious foot injury during his pre-season preparations. But he’s since made his comeback, and he provided an excellent assist in his last appearance against Leeds United.

The 20-year-old’s 13 goals in his debut season in the Premier League certainly make him a hot prospect. But that’s also why Bournemouth will be keen to keep him.
As mentioned, Bournemouth’s stance on Alex Scott has recently softened, as they’ve gone from insisting they won’t sell him to asking for a £100m+ fee.
That change in stance led to a bit of excitement around Arsenal supporters, who suggested that perhaps Bournemouth could make a similar concession in Kroupi’s case.
But the reality is probably that Scott’s probable mega-money January transfer will put Bournemouth in a very secure position financially, and they’ll have no problem holding onto Kroupi unless he pushes for a move himself.
