William Saliba has started running again and is targeting a return to action in November, according to a report from France.

Hugo Delom reports for L’Equipe that William Saliba is back running again, following a recent x-ray that showed his recovery is on track.
The Arsenal defender is reportedly desperate to start playing matches again, but he knows he can’t rush things. As it stands, he’s on schedule for a return in November.
The article adds that Saliba has been watching Arsenal and France closely during his absence, following every game. He’s been impressed by his replacements for club and country, but he’ll obviously be hoping to win his spot back.

There’s no suggestion of a specific match Saliba might return for, with Delom simply suggesting he’s aiming for ‘sometime in November’. But it’s worth noting that the very last Arsenal match of the month is at home to Manchester City.
If Saliba is back in action at any point in November, that would make him eligible for the game against Arsenal’s Premier League title rivals.
Saliba has been out of action since the World Cup over the summer, coming off in the semi-final match against Spain as he found himself unable to continue playing through his back injury.

The 25-year-old has since missed eight club matches and two international fixtures, and he’ll miss many more games for both teams before he’s eventually able to return.
Arsenal face Leeds United (H), Lille (H), Nottingham Forest (A), Bayern Munich (A), Everton (H), and Fleetwood Town (A) in October, and Saliba will also surely miss the game away to Liverpool on November 1st.
After that, Saliba’s level of potential involvement is unclear, with the Gunners to play Slavia Praha (A), Hull City (H), Newcastle United (A), and Borussia Dortmund (H) in November before concluding the month with that game against City.
