Max Dowman has been presented with three Guinness World Records certificates after a remarkable 2025/26 season in which the Arsenal teenager became the youngest player to appear in the Champions League, the youngest Premier League goalscorer and the youngest Premier League title winner.

Dowman set his first record on November 4, 2025, when he came off the bench against Slavia Prague aged 15 years and 308 days.

That made him the youngest player to appear in the UEFA Champions League, breaking Youssoufa Moukoko’s previous record by 75 days.

His second record followed on March 14, 2026, when he scored in Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Everton.

Dowman was 16 years and 73 days old, making him the youngest goalscorer in Premier League history.

He surpassed James Vaughan, who had been 16 years and 271 days old when he scored for Everton against Crystal Palace in 2005.

The third certificate recognises Dowman as the youngest player to win the Premier League, a record he set at 16 years and 144 days when Arsenal secured the 2025/26 title.

Those achievements have also earned him the “opening player profile” in the Guinness World Records Football Edition 2027 as part of its “Class of ’27”.

Tom Beckerlegge, senior editor of the publication, said: “The youngest player on our list, Max sums up what the Class of ’27 is all about.

“To have already achieved three Guinness World Records titles before turning 17 is extraordinary, and his story captures exactly why this generation of players is so exciting.”
