Arsenal are set to wear yellow rather than blue during Sunday’s game against Liverpool, which could be a good omen for the team.

With another away game coming up this weekend against a team that primarily wears red, Arsenal will once again be forced to use one of their alternate kits for the match.
The Gunners are set to wear the yellow third kit on this occasion, rather than the blue kit utilised against Bayern Munich and Fleetwood Town.

Arsenal are still yet to win in blue this season, having drawn with Bayern and lost to Fleetwood on penalties. But the Gunners have a 100% record in yellow, beating Aston Villa, Sunderland, and Nottingham Forest in the third kit.
Following the defeat to Fleetwood, Arsenal have now lost matches in both the away kit and the home kit (worn against Brighton & Hove Albion). But they’re undefeated in the yellow third kit so far, which is a nice omen ahead of a tricky trip to Anfield.

Arsenal’s first competitive win in the new blue away kit will have to wait, but perhaps not for long.
The Gunners play Slavia Praha away from home next Wednesday, another team to wear red and white. It’s likely Mikel Arteta’s team will end up back in blue for that match, looking to get back to winning ways in the Champions League.
