Arsenal have reportedly contacted Can Uzun’s representatives as they assess the 20-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt forward.

Arsenal have reportedly made contact with the representatives of Can Uzun as they look into another possible attacking option.
The claim comes from a CaughtOffside exclusive, which says Arsenal approached 11WINS, the agency representing Uzun, to ask for information about the 6ft 1 20-year-old.
At this stage, that is as far as the story goes. There is no confirmed bid, no agreement with the player and no reported talks with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Uzun has scored four goals this season, with three assists, in six games and offers a fair bit of flexibility up top.
The Turkey international can play as a striker, a number 10 or on the left.
The obvious complication is the money Frankfurt could demand for a player under contract until 2029.
When Galatasaray showed interest during the summer, Frankfurt reportedly wanted €60 million. The Turkish club were not prepared to pay that amount, and FootballTransfers believes there is little reason for Frankfurt to lower their expectations after Uzun’s start to the season.
It’s hard to disagree.
There is another interesting detail in Arsenal’s contact with 11WINS.
The same agency also represents Nicolo Tresoldi, who has himself been linked with a move to north London after his performances for Club Brugge.
If nothing else, it certainly does seem like Arsenal are seeking attacking reinforcements for the January window and that’s a very good thing.
